​Rena was born and raised in a small town called Hugo in Oklahoma.  She grew up with Baptist roots.  In Rena’s earliest years, she was introduced to death, poverty, and the spirit of fear.  Sadly, during her teenage years, she began experiencing trauma from a narcissistic parent.  Struggling with finding her place in the world and her calling, Rena began having identity issues in finding herself and her identity in Christ which led to studying the occult.  She became a witch and started following the new age spirituality movement by doing spells, sex magick, manifestations, aura readings, healing work and more.

​Soon, she had an encounter with God through Him coming into the room.  That is when she immediately repented and turned to God.  Just like our journeys don’t end after we turn to God, hers doesn’t either.  Tune into episode one of The Secret Place to hear her full, yet incredible testimony!
